FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Pricing
Rentals start at $15 for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour.
How many hours can I rent a bike for?
You can rent any available bike for as long as you’d like, between dusk and dawn each day.
Do I need a helmet?
While we don’t provide helmets, we highly recommend you bring your own!
Where do I return my bike?
Bikes must be returned to the same Routebound rack where you started your journey (either Race St. or Furnace Rd.). The app will not allow you to end your rental until the bike is safely locked back into its home station.
What happens if I have an issue with my bike during the ride?
If you experience any mechanical issues, please use the “Support” button in the app immediately. We monitor our fleet daily to ensure a smooth ride, but we’re here to help if something goes wrong!
What kind of bikes do you offer?
We provide comfortable lightweight cruisers equipped with solar-powered safety lights, a bell for signaling, and a front basket for your gear.
Is there an age limit?
Account holders must be 18+ to rent through the app. Minors (ages 12+) are welcome to ride as long as a parent or guardian is present to handle the rental and supervision.
How many bikes can I rent?
As long as there are bikes to rent at the rack, users may rent multiple bikes at a time.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Just your smartphone and a sense of adventure! We recommend brining a helmet, water bottle, and sunscreen. Your bike comes with a basket, so feel free to bring a small bag or snack for the ride.
What times can I ride?
Routebound bikes are available for rental from dawn until dusk, matching the official trail hours. Please note that our service is seasonal; we typically launch in early spring and wrap up in late autumn to ensure the best riding conditions for our guests.
